today is rag day 1. i am considered fresh, even as a senior, as i had never attended any meetings with the team before. but the team was not in the full power when i met the raggers this morning. i wonder if everyone was bored when the heads briefed us about the plan. sense of excitement? eagerness and motivation? when a friend asked me about the team, i was really clueless. we had talked about the team before, and also the subsequent factors that make a team work. as a senior who had experienced the pains and gains before, i really hope that i could lead the newbies so that they will achieve their aims. i just want to do a better job this year.
tonight was quite different as compared to last year. the wing was silent, with freshies tucked in their respectives shelter. bridge! i almost forgot how to play the game. i wonder why people would spend their time remembering the numbers and symbols on the cards but not names of people around us.
for dinner, i had tried the soya bean curd and you tiao at chong pang and well, no next chance. i had tried not to spend money on dinner but i still didnt make it. well, remember the days when i keep myself occupied so much that i was totally unmoved by the food? ...
just like any usual conclusion, i hope that i will still meet my target at the end of the day. and for the team, oh how nice if we could win. and yes we could.
